Qualifications

Every subject teacher in the secondary section holds at minimum a B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree alongside their subject degree. PU Science faculty hold M.Sc. in their subject alongside B.Ed., and several hold NET (National Eligibility Test) qualification.

Primary teachers hold D.Ed. or B.Ed. with training in child psychology and early childhood pedagogy.

When you visit The City Academy, ask to meet a subject teacher — not just the principal or admissions person. Ask them how long they have been teaching here, and what they find most challenging in their subject. The answers will tell you more about the school's culture than any brochure.
