Eligibility

Pass 10+2 from any stream with Mathematics (or equivalent) as a subject. Minimum 45–50%. Some colleges accept without Maths if Maths is included in the BCA curriculum in Year 1.

Preparation Roadmap

BCA does not require a competitive entrance exam in most cases — admission is directly on 12th marks. Focus on building programming skills (C, Java, Python) from Year 1. BCA + MCA is a common combination. BCA alone may have limited placement compared to B.Tech CS — supplement with certifications (AWS, Google Cloud, React/Node.js) or pursue MCA after BCA.
